I've been a graphic designer for over 10 years, employed by a wide variety of companies in the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand and in that time I've produced a great deal of print ready artwork and digital media on many different subjects and in many different styles, in close consultation with my employers and customers.
I enjoy variety, solution finding and contact with people that graphic design provides. I'm a stickler for detail, painfully tight deadlines excite me and I think it's fair to say I'm an avid learner. I also have my own graphic design business anggraphicdesign. My regular clients included Rotorua District Council, Papamoa Unlimited and The Incubator Charitable Trust, all well known businesses in the Bay of Plenty. Since returning from my period of voluntary work overseas I've worked closely with Northland artist Lester Hall and completed and launched an HTML website called thedukeart.com
Lester has been responsible for 'theming' a prominent hotel in the Bay of Islands and some of his unique artwork in the motel is for sale. The website is a direct marketing tool designed to capture customers using the hotel. Outside of New Zealand I prepared some marketing collateral and completed a content management project for the Devon Guild of Craftsmen in England, this was while I was overseas volunteering as a house and petsitter. |
